Alien Isolation (PC,PS4,XBone,PS3,360) (2014)

Tuesday, 25 November 2014

Nostromo Dining Area - This is the iconic kitchen from the film. My task was to model the walls, ceiling and floor, and also created the porch ways that join on. It was important to make the wall piece modular for easy assembly and the potential to re use assets. The assets where created in 3ds Max and assembled within our in house Level editor.

Nostromo Self Destruct room - This is from a scene at the end of the film. I modeled the walls, ceiling and floor and dressed the room with props.

Sevastopol Hospital Mission - We reused elements of kitchen for the hospital mission. We wanted to give it a different feel, much darker, less lived in. I dressed the area to feel less inhabitable, turning it more into a store room. I also helped to expand the modular Science corridor set, giving us more variety in wall assets.

Rabbids Rumble 3DS (2012)

Monday, 26 November 2012

During my time at Headstrong Games in London i worked on the 3ds title "Rabbids Rumble". We had the challenge of designing and creating over 100 different rabbid costumes, allowing players to collect them all by winning mini games. I worked closely with designers to come up with environments for the mini games and created a number of low poly scenes and assets. This included creating scenes for the Augmented Reality (AR) mini games which was a new experience for me.

Buzz! The Ultimate Music Quiz (2010) (PS3)

Friday, 31 December 2010

Whilst working on Buzz! The Ultimate Music Quiz, I had the pleasure of creating some of the player characters, including the main Host (Buzz), which in 2010 had a makeover when Sony made the decision to give the host more human portions, but still keep traits from the original Buzz.

Above are two contestant characters, Robot and Ballerina. I modeled, textured and Rigged.

Heres a few videos showing the characters in action. Firstly the Robot, secondly the Host turnarounds with a couple of animations to show the mesh deforming, and thirdly, in game footage of all the character I worked on from Buzz! The Ultimate Music Quiz. Previous characters I modeled from Buzz! Quiz World were also included in Buzz! Music, theses were Vampire, Yogi and Gran.

Buzz! Quiz TV Characters (2008) (PS3)

Stevie and Vampire are two of the characters i worked for the release of my first PS3 Title, "Buzz! Quiz TV". Both created in 3ds Max, i used Mudbox for high detailed meshes, and CAT (Character Animation ToolKit) for Rigging. Texturing was all done in Photoshop.
